Two Sessions. Make a Weekend of It.
Make the most of the weekend with two small-group mentorship sessions — creating space to think, discuss, and work through clinical decisions alongside peers, with opportunities to explore hands-on skills. These sessions are intentionally unstructured. There are no slides, workbooks, or prepared materials — the focus is on real cases, shared discussion, and hands-on practice. Time together will adapt to the questions, challenges, and clinical experiences brought forward by those in the room. All hours are eligible as direct mentorship hours for AIM and Western programs.

Meghan Curle
Physiotherapist + Mentor | Instructor + Educator MCISc(MT), MPT, FCAMPT, CAFCI, CGIMS
With over 16 years of experience as a physiotherapist, Meghan’s work centres on mentorship, clinical reasoning, and professional development in musculoskeletal practice. As an FCAMPT clinician and educator within the Orthopaedic Division and UBC programs, she supports clinicians in developing a more organized and intentional approach to clinical decision-making. These sessions reflect that work — creating space to explore cases, practice hands-on skills, and engage in mentorship together. The focus is not on learning more techniques, but on how we think, apply, and continue to develop in everyday practice. This approach extends into her broader mentorship work, where clinicians are supported over time through reflection, discussion, and guided application within real clinical contexts.
From Clinicians in Mentorship
Insights shared by clinicians as they develop their approach to clinical reasoning and practice.
“Over the past few years I have been working with Meghan as a mentor, to help overcome some of the challenges I have faced as an internationally qualified physiotherapist moving to Canada. Throughout this time, she has supported me and significantly increased my confidence as a practitioner.”

“Meghan has been a valuable mentor and resource for me as a physio, both in my practice and academic teaching. She is an incredible sounding board and offers new innovative ideas to improve our profession. She never fails to offer up to date research findings and clinical experience covering many aspects of musculoskeletal management.”
Vancouver, BC
Learning a structured clinical reasoning process with Meghan changed everything. I don’t panic when a case is complex anymore. I used to feel anxious when presentations weren’t straightforward. Now I can stay calm, ask better questions, understand the full picture, and use evidence based, client centred strategies to help people move forward. I’m more confident, more engaged, and I build stronger rapport. Most importantly, I’m seeing better outcomes because I’m approaching each case with more clarity and direction.
